It is an incredible honor for iEARN to be featured as a school model that can for transformational change in education.

Outlined in the report is a new framework laying out eight critical shifts in learning content and experiences to redefine quality learning in the new economic and social context. The report shares key features of 16 schools, school systems and education programmes pioneering key aspects of the new framework for the future of education.

The report recognizes iEARN’s model as unique in that it connects students with their peers from schools all around the world on issues and projects aiming to create positive change in the world. Shared is the process by which this occurs, from teachers selecting from over 150 projects and integrating them into their existing curricula, to learners meeting and collaborating on the same project through iEARN’s online platform and forum, to each project answering the question: “how will this project improve the quality of life on the planet?” and indicating how it supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
